Supporting Swansea Women's Aid to Stay Connected

The Comcen Charity Committee have been supporting Swansea Women's Aid to stay connected and continue the vital service they provide with a donation of Logitech C270 webcams, selected due to the quality and durability of the cameras.

Swansea Women’s Aid (SWA) is a women-only organisation which supports women, with or without children, who are affected by domestic abuse. Swansea Women’s Aid workers have specialist knowledge on issues related to domestic abuse and how it can affect the lives of women and children.

Office Manager Kerry Jones said "During the pandemic, we quickly evolved to be able to offer support in a Covid Safe environment without a detrimental impact on the women and children. We have remained open to those who need us in a crisis or emergency situation, and virtual and phone support is available 24/7 via our helpline 07192 644683

We remain fully committed to putting women and children at the heart of everything we do and the generosity and kindness of the staff and suppliers at Comcen enables us to continue our much needed roles during this time. Thank you from everyone at SWA!"

Comcen has been fundraising and donating to charity since its conception in 1982. Being able to provide local charities with what they needed was important to us. For Swansea Woman's Aid it made sense that, as a Tech company, we could easily source video conferencing products to aid in the vital support SWA workers provide to women and children in Swansea.
